Our Lab has Won the Gold Award in the National Parallel Application Challenge Competition

In the just concluded National Parallel Application Challenge Competition, our lab’s team consisting of Zhiling Qiu, Xian Wu, ZhouXia Wang and KeZe Wang has won the Gold Award.

The competition was hosted in Xi’an this year, divided into application group and optimization group.It attracted 133 teams, from more than 256 universities across the country. After the experts’ review, in which of 25 teams participated in the final.

Our team participate the application group contest, Our entries is the asynchronous training of deep nerual networks and it’s application in video parsing , Based on the tianhe-2 super computer, we speed up the training process of deep nerual networks, ultimately beat other participating teams to win the task in the first rank, therefore received the Gold Award in this contest.
