摘要：In this talk, we will first present the key concepts and main principles related to Blockchain and IoT. We also present the different perspectives as well as challenges when Blockchain is explored in IoT. Then, we mainly focus on our two recent studies and results related to: (i) communications and computation joint problem formulation and solution in Blockchain empowered distributed communications/computing environments; and (ii) Blockchain and Federated Learning for data privacy protection. We will also point out several open research questions for further study.

个人介绍：张彦，挪威工程院院士，IEEE Fellow, 全球“高被引科学家”，挪威奥斯陆大学终身教授，IET Fellow，IEEE通信学会绿色通信与计算技术委员会主席，IEEE杰出讲师，CCF区块链专委会委员。

张彦教授2005年毕业于新加坡南洋理工大学获电子电气工程博士学位，分别于北京航空航天大学和南京邮电大学获硕士和学士学位。近期主要研究方向为未来无线通信网络和智能安全物联网。现任10个IEEE Transactions/Magazine顶级期刊编辑，包括IEEE Communications Magazine; IEEE Network Magazine; IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials；IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics; IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology; IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking; IEEE Internet of Things；IEEE Systems Journal; IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine；以及IEEE Blockchain Technical Briefs。并现任或曾任国内多个核心期刊编委，包括中国通信，通信与信息网络学报，物联网学报, 及数字通信与网络。
