Recently, a paper on the latest research results of the Robotics Team of the School of Computer Science at Sun Yat-sen University (team led by Associate Professor Tan Ning and Professor Huang Kai) was published in the top robotics journal International Journal of Robotics Research under the title “Behavior-predefined adaptive control for heterogeneous continuum robots” .
Recently, a research paper led by Associate Professor Peijia Zheng of our school was accepted by the 31st International Conference on Computer and Communications Security (ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security, ACM CCS2024).
Recently, Professor Huang Kai's artificial intelligence and unmanned system research team in our school published a research article titled "Lateral Flexion of a Compliant Spine Improves Motor Performance in a Bio-Inspired Mouse Robot" in Science Robotics, a top international academic journal. The article was reported on the homepage of Science's official website. This is the first time that Sun Yat-sen University has published a research paper in Science Robotics!
Recently, the research paper Recovering the Original Simplicity: Succinct and Deterministic Quantum Algorithm for the Welded Tree Problem from the Institute of Quantum Computing and Software, School of Computer Science, Sun Yat-sen University was accepted by the top international academic conference SODA.
The increasingly serious water resources problem is one of the major challenges currently facing sustainable development. Seawater desalination is one of the effective ways to increase the total amount of fresh water. Recently, Professor Heng Yi's team at the National Supercomputing Center in Guangzhou used the new research paradigm of "HPC+AI for Science" to conduct systematic research on seawater reverse osmosis technology combined with advanced membrane materials.
